Strings and Stories of a Troubadour (Live in Odeon, Vienna 2011) [10 Year Anniversary Edition]
The 10th anniversary edition of “Strings and Stories of a Troubadour” presents a full-length live sound journey from Odeon, Vienna in 2011 featuring some of the “classics” from Estas Tonne music library in enhanced versions alongside previously unpublished sounds and spoken words.
It is one of the key albums which set a direction towards the unknown roads of music and life being experienced until now.
The rich collection of soundtracks intertwined with spontaneous verbal expressions offer a space to contemplate and experience silence on the journey of sound.
Hear the strings telling stories about meetings, places and experiences of the past through the eyes of a traveling troubadour while acknowledging the impermanence of it all.
Without holding onto the past, the album is an invitation to look at the momentum with fresh eyes, to hear the sounds again with an open heart, from the place of Now.
A call to dream and remember the precious things that we might have forgotten.
To remember to live fully.
To take courage when we fall and pick ourselves up again on this journey of life.
The initial release of the live album in 2012 marked the end of one decade of Estas Tonne sound after which a new way of playing manifested with the appearance of the Internal Flight.
The 10th anniversary of the special album edition is now symbolically concluding another decade and opening a new unknown road again.
Honoring the past chapters of life’s continuous adventure manifested as music, may the album become a reminder to celebrate all the paths that brought us here.
